A Year of Ups and Downs

2026 saw some big changes for us. A River Runs Through (HTBF White Water x Rough Diamond Sara) had her first foal, a chestnut colt with a lot of chrome (he is available!). HTBF Kiss Me Kate (Indubitably x Rough Diamond Sara) was purchased by Lauren and Catherine and moved to the OKC area (not too far from half sibling HTBF Colonel Brandon!).

With the good, often comes the bad. In October, we had to say goodbye to one of the best mares we have known, Rough Diamond Sara. Things will never be the same on the farm without her deep nickers welcoming us into the barn each day. In her almost 27 years she helped teach many people to ride both English and Western. She was truly a horse that could do anything.

She also produced 7 foals in her lifetime, and they will be her lasting legacy:

Rest in deep pastures, Sara! You will never be forgotten here.
